Upon arrival in Bangalore, you will be welcomed by our tour executive who will introduce you to your chauffeur. Start your journey to Mysore, making a stop at Srirangapatna to visit the Renganathaswamy Temple, one of the Five Pancharanga Kshetras along the River Cauvery, where the presiding deity Lord Renganatha is depicted in a reclining posture. Continue to Mysore and check into your hotel. After a brief rest, head to Mysore Palace, a stunning example of Indo-Saracenic architecture, blending Hindu, Muslim, Rajput, and Gothic styles. Today, explore the scenic beauty of Wayanad. Start with the Edakkal Caves, famous for their ancient rock carvings. Then, visit the Wayanad Heritage Museum to learn about the region’s history. After lunch, continue your journey to Phantom Rock, a rock formation resembling a human skull. Next, head to Arattupara Viewpoint for stunning panoramic views. End your day at Banasura Sagar Dam, the largest earthen dam in India and second largest in Asia. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Post breakfast, check out from your hotel and start your drive to Coorg. On arrival, visit Omkareshwara Temple, followed by a trip to Raja Seat, a beautiful viewpoint offering panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys. After checking into your hotel, visit Tala Cauvery, the origin of the Cauvery River, and return to the hotel for the night.
Start your day with a visit to Dubare Elephant Camp, where you can participate in elephant bathing and feeding (optional on direct payment basis). Continue your journey to Abbey Falls, surrounded by lush coffee plantations. After enjoying the waterfall, head to Madikeri Fort, Museum, and Raja Seat Museum to learn about the history of the region. After an early breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your drive back to Bangalore. Enroute, stop at Bylakuppe, the second largest Tibetan settlement in India, to visit the beautiful Golden Temple and interact with young Buddhist monks. Upon reaching Bangalore, our representative will assist you with your transfer to the airport for your return flight, marking the end of your memorable tour to South India.
