Aralam Wildlife Sanctuary, established in 1984, spans 55 sq. km in the lush slopes of the Western Ghats, located in Thalassery, Kannur district, Kerala. As the northernmost sanctuary in Kerala, it connects with the forests of Coorg in Karnataka, showcasing a rich diversity of flora and fauna.
The sanctuary features extensive teak and eucalyptus plantations, contributing to its unique ecosystem. This farm serves as one of the key production centers for hybrid coconut seeds in the country, further enhancing the agricultural landscape surrounding the sanctuary.
